Service Goal

The purpose of Self Directed Care is to provide an option of obtaining personal attendant care services with the freedom of choice as to when, how, and by whom the service is provided.

Service Description

Under Self Directed Care the client or guardian becomes the employer of their service staff, CLASS LTD performs fiscal intermediary service for the guardian/client which includes payroll agency and State billing services. As a payroll agency, CLASS provides staff background checks, payroll processing, tax deposits, and reporting services. As a billing agency, CLASS bills the State for services and maintains documentation of those services. CLASS also provides free staff training services.
