Service Goal

The goal of host family services is to provide access to a natural rhythm of life similar to one that occurs as a part of living in the family home.

Service Description

Host family services are provided under a contract to provide a home for an adult age 18 or older with a developmental or intellectual disability. Placement is expected to be long-term in nature. Persons are appropriately matched with families based on their strengths, needs, and preferences. Families are monitored and supported to maintain quality of service and satisfaction of the person. Families will be subject to certain background checks, drivers' license checks, other relevant checks, and provide proof of vehicle insurance if applicable.
