Service Goal
The goal of adult day services is to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing training and opportunities to optimize their participation in the community through employment and/or personal and social development.

Community Employment
Community Employment Services assists each person seeking employment in choosing, obtaining, and retaining integrated employment in the community.
Categories of community employment include:
Organizational Employment
Organizational Employment Services are designed to provide paid work experiences for our clients in a group setting at our service centers in the job training area. Contracts procured from local businesses and manufacturers give these opportunities to our clients and allow them to work on skill enhancement and job readiness strategies prior to community placements.
Valued Activities
This service provides a wide variety of opportunities based on the individual's identified interests and needs. These may include, but are not limited to, socialization activities, recreation, community inclusion, opportunities for volunteerism, environmental awareness/stimulation, training in following directions, adapting to work routines, carrying out assigned duties, acquiring appropriate situational attitudes and habits, adjusting to the productive and social demands of the workplace, supports for self-employment, mobility training, use of public and job-related facilities, and use of transportation opportunities.
