CLASS LTD Announces 24th Annual Holiday Ball and Auction

Pittsburg, Kansas – CLASS LTD is pleased to announce the 24th annual Southeast Kansas Holiday Ball and Auction. The annual event serves for many as a way to kick off the holiday season, and this year's theme, "Jingle Bell Ball" promises to do just that. The annual Holiday Ball and Auction, hosted by CLASS LTD and The Foundation for CLASS, Inc., is a charitable event to benefit people throughout Southeast Kansas with developmental disabilities through The Foundation for CLASS, Inc. The Jingle Bell Ball will be held on Saturday, November 19 at the Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium, located at 503 North Pine Street in Pittsburg.

The event starts with a social hour at 6 pm, and as attendees arrive, they will be greeted with songs of Christmas performed by the CLASS Choir. Chatters Grill will serve dinner at 7 pm, and a strolling magician will provide entertainment. The evening will also feature a live and silent auction with highlighted items including beautiful themed Christmas trees, electronics, and numerous gifts. Area 51 will provide dance music after the meal and throughout the evening.

"Support for this event by individuals, organizations, and businesses within our community over the years has been just wonderful," Debbie Jones, CLASS LTD Vice-President for Development said. "This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and every bit of the money raised stays in Southeast Kansas."

"Last year's Holiday Ball and Auction brought in approximately $20,000, and helped many individuals who receive services from CLASS LTD obtain the things they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives," Jones added.

Advance tickets for the event are $65 per person, and with a limited number of tickets available, reservations are required for guaranteed dinner and seating.
