What positions are available to me at CLASS LTD?

Coach:
A coach assists clients in community living or workplace environments while promoting and helping to develop the individual’s independence. Coaches must also help to build natural supports in the community and promote inclusion and acceptance for clients. In addition, coaches must aid in the development of friendships and other community involvement.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (from a state accredited institution) required. Experience in the human service field preferred, but not required. Must have good oral and written communication skills and driving record.

Other positions include: team leaders, county service directors, case managers, accounting/audit/payroll, office managers, community relations, fundraising, computer information systems, human resources, administration, and maintenance/custodial.

Requirements: Vary by position.

What You Need To Know Before Applying With CLASS LTD
You must not have any history or record of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of persons unable to protect themselves.

We conduct background checks on all employees with Social & Rehabilitation Services (SRS), Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), and the Kansas Health Occupation Credentialing office, if applicable. Information you provide on your application will be verified.

A high school diploma or GED from a state accredited school is required for employment with CLASS LTD. This is also subject to verification. Some positions may require additional education or experience.

A pre-employment driver’s license check will be conducted. Excessive traffic violations may preclude your employment with CLASS LTD. Accidents that appear on your driving record will require a written signed statement from you on the circumstances of the accident.
You must have reading, writing, and math skills at an acceptable level of proficiency to meet documentation and record keeping requirements, which is a part of every job within CLASS LTD.

Confidentiality for our clients and staff is an essential element of any job within CLASS LTD.
Forty hours of in-service training is required the first year of employment and 20 hours a year thereafter for service positions. You must attend required training classes to continue to be an employee in good standing.

Attendance and punctuality are essential to the successful performance of your job.
If use of a personal vehicle is required for your position, proof of appropriate insurance is required.

CLASS LTD has a zero tolerance policy regarding the use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
You will be subject to random drug tests as an employee of CLASS LTD.
